Community Guidelines
Matalaku is a place for friendly, respectful conversation between adults. These rules apply to every caller and every host, in every call. Breaking them can lead to a warning, loss of wallet balance or earnings linked to the violation, a temporary block or a permanent ban. Serious cases are reported to the police.
1. Adults only
- You must be 18 or older. Giving a false age is a permanent ban.
- If you think someone on a call is under 18, end the call and report them.
2. Keep it clean – no sexual content
- No nudity, partial nudity or underwear on camera, and no sexual acts, gestures or poses.
- No sexual talk, requests or “dirty” role-play, in any language.
- No selling or asking for sexual services, adult video calls or links to adult websites.
- Matalaku is not a dating or adult service. Hosts are paid for conversation only.
3. Respect everyone
- No abuse, threats, bullying or insults, including about someone’s body, looks, caste, religion, region, language, gender or disability.
- If someone says “stop” or ends a call, respect it. Do not keep calling them.
- No hate speech and no support for violent or terrorist groups.
4. Protect your privacy – and theirs
- Do not share or ask for phone numbers, WhatsApp, Instagram, addresses, UPI IDs, bank details or OTPs.
- Do not try to move people off Matalaku to other apps or meet in person.
- Do not record, screenshot or share anyone’s call, voice or image. Matalaku blocks screenshots and screen recording inside the app, and trying to get around this is a violation.
5. No money tricks
- No asking for money, gifts, recharges, loans or “help” outside the app.
- No fake stories, fake emergencies or pretending to be in love to get money.
- No fake accounts, multiple accounts, fake calls or using bugs to earn or save money.
6. Be real
- Use your own account and your real age and gender. No pretending to be someone else.
- Profile names, photos and bios must be clean and must not include contact details.
7. Safety and self-harm
If someone talks about hurting themselves, be kind and suggest they contact a professional or a helpline (see our Safety Center). Never encourage self-harm, violence or dangerous challenges.
8. Children
Any content or talk that sexualises children leads to an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities. See our Child Safety Standards.
9. Voice groups and rooms
- All the rules above apply in groups and rooms too. Keep group names and topics clean and honest.
- If you started a group, you are responsible for keeping it friendly — remove anyone who breaks the rules.
- Do not spam hosts with "come online" requests or use them to pressure anyone.
10. How to report
Tap Report during or after a call, or go to Profile → Help & Support. Reported users are blocked for you automatically. You can also email support@matalaku.in. If we take action on your account and you think it was a mistake, email us within 15 days and a person will review it.
