Zero tolerance: Matalaku has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any such content or behaviour leads to an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities.
1. Adults only
Matalaku is for people aged 18 and over. Every user must confirm they are 18+ when creating a profile, and every host is reviewed and verified before they can take calls. Accounts that appear to belong to a minor are suspended.
2. What is prohibited
- Any sexual content involving minors, including images, video, audio, text or links to such material.
- Grooming, sexualised conversation with or about minors, or attempts to contact minors.
- Sharing, requesting, or trading CSAM in any form.
- Any sexual or explicit content in general — Matalaku is a platform for friendly conversation only.
3. How to report
- In the app: tap Report during or after any call, or go to Profile → Help & Support. You can also block the person.
- By email: support@matalaku.in with the subject "Child safety". Include the user's name and the time of the call if you can.
4. What we do
- Child-safety reports are reviewed with top priority.
- Accounts involved are permanently banned and cannot recharge or take calls.
- We preserve relevant account information and report confirmed CSAM/CSAE to the appropriate authorities, including the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) in India, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and law enforcement, as required by law.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement requests.
5. Compliance
Matalaku complies with applicable child-safety laws, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India, and Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
